How to Find Your Ring Size

Not sure about your ring size? Don’t worry, there are a few simple ways to find it at home. Here are three easy methods.

Method 1: Measure a Ring You Already Own

This works best if you already have a ring that fits the finger you want to wear your new ring on.
1. Take a ring that fits you well.
2. Measure the inside diameter of the ring from one inner edge to the other using a ruler or caliper.
3. Compare the measurement with the ring size chart below to find your size.

Tip: Make sure you measure only the inside of the ring, not the outer edges.

Method 2: Measure Your Finger with String or Paper

If you don’t have a ring to measure, you can measure your finger directly.
1. Take a thin piece of string, thread, or paper.
2. Wrap it around the base of your finger where the ring will sit.
3. Mark the point where the string overlaps.
4. Lay it flat and measure the length with a ruler (in millimeters).
5. Use the ring size chart below to convert the measurement into a ring size.

Tip: Your finger size can change during the day, so measure when your hands are at a normal temperature.

Method 3: Use a Ring Sizer

For the most accurate result, you can use a ring sizer tool.
1. Slide the ring sizer onto your finger.
2. Adjust it until it feels comfortable but snug.
3. Make sure it can still slide over your knuckle.
4. Read the size indicated on the sizer.

Helpful Tips
• Measure your finger at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger.
• Avoid measuring when your hands are very cold or very warm.
• If you are between two sizes, it is usually best to choose the larger size.
